Board Games

Here you'll find a list of my favourite tabletop board and card games, my thoughts on them, and links to find out more information or purchase them.

  • Talisman (Games Workshop & Pegasus Spiele)

Deep in the world of Talisman, players go on a journey to magical lands and endeavor to reclaim the Crown of Command. As a priestess, a wizard, a warrior or one of eleven other heroes, players battle, gain knowledge and power, and advance towards the Valley of Fire. But their path is perilous and first they must defeat the lurking guardians and obtain one of the legendary Talismans in order to pass through the Portal of Power. Monsters, traps, and dark magic await players on every step of the way.

  • Scythe (Stomemaier Games)

Scythe is an engine-building, asymmetric, competitive board game set in an alternate-history 1920s period. It is a time of farming and war, broken hearts and rusted gears, innovation and valor.

  • Carcassonne

Inspired by the medieval fortress in southern France of the same name, Carcassonne is a tile-laying game in which players fill in the countryside around the fortified city. Players choose from tiles that depict cities, roads, monasteries, and fields; each new tile placed creates an ever-expanding board on which players can then add their followers.

  • Dungeon Mayhem: Monster Madness

In Dungeon Mayhem: Monster Madness, you play as one of six epic D&D monsters, each with their own way to charm, crush, disintegrate, and devour their foes. Pit these cunning creatures against any other Dungeon Mayhem deck, and store all your cards in this monster-sized box. Then select your favorite and prepare for mayhem. Plus, you can also enjoy bringing more adventurers into the fold with the addition of rules to include up to 6 players!
